Altenew's name is inspired by founders' desire to interpret classical inspirations in contemporary form. Alt in German means Old, and thus Alt-e-New represents the juxtaposition of the classical and contemporary designs. Altenew is continuously innovating and is always striving to be at the forefront of crafting techniques and expressions.
